Marie Casciari practices exclusively in the areas of employee benefits and other insurance litigation. Marie Casciari has handled all aspects of litigation at the state court, federal district court, and federal appellate court levels; and manages internal appeals under ERISA, and benefit claim submissions under group and individual benefit policies.  Marie Casciari has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Illinois Circuit Court.

Marie Casciari is an active participant in the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law, Employee Benefits Committee and Joint Committee on Employee Benefits; and serves as a chapter co-chair of, and contributing author to, the American Bar Association Annual Report of the Employee Benefits Committee. Marie Casciari was selected for the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Leadership Development Program in 2014. Marie Casciari was also the former co-chair of the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Health and Hospital Law Committee from 2014-2015, and vice chair of the Chicago Bar Association Employee Benefits Committee from 2015-2016.  Marie Casciari has presented numerous times on the topic of employee benefits litigation for both the American Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association, and was named a Super Lawyers' Rising Star for the year of 2016.
