Unum Insurance Disability Claims
Unum Provident is one of the largest suppliers of disability insurance, handling nearly 40 percent of all claims filed in the United States. Since 1992, there have been more than 10,000 lawsuits filed against the company and its many subsidiaries. These suits claim that the company has systematically denied new claims and terminated existing claims without valid reasons. Evidence presented in these cases, including internal documents and depositions, has shown that the company undertook a program of denying and terminating claims as a cost-cutting measure. After much litigation, Unum Provident was ordered to pay $15 million in fines and reconsider nearly 220,000 disability claims that they had previously denied. If you believe that Unum unreasonably denied your claim, you need to contact Daley, DeBofsky and Bryant. The firm, which is dedicated to disability law and employee rights, has successfully litigated many of these wrongfully denied claims. Just because your claim may be reopened, you can't be certain that you won't be denied again. Certainly Unum Provident will continue to resist paying out claims as much as possible, so you will want to have expert representation on your side. Daley, DeBofsky and Bryant will work to get you full and fair compensation for your disability. With the highest rating possible from peer review and a reputation as leaders and mentors in the field of disability law, they have the experience and expertise to successfully pursue your claim.
