Prior to joining DeBofsky Law, Maloney graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2017 with certificates of concentration in Health Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Maloney was a member of the Law Review and served as an Executive Board member of the Moot Court Honors Program. He also competed on the school’s National Moot Court Competition team and won the school’s Herzog Moot Court Competition. Additionally, he acted as a certified mediator for small claims in state court, as well as a judicial extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County.

“I’m incredibly honored to be joining the team of shareholders at DeBofsky Law,” said Maloney. “It’s been a privilege to work alongside such a talented team and represent individuals in their most critical times of need. I’m dedicated to upholding our firm’s commitment to providing exceptional legal representation and fighting tirelessly for the rights of our clients.”

As DeBofsky Law’s fourth shareholder, Matthew Maloney joins current shareholders Marie Casciari, Mark DeBofsky, and Martina Sherman in leading the firm’s mission to provide comprehensive legal representation for ERISA claimants seeking resolution of issues surrounding disability and healthcare benefits.
