Marie Casciari to speak at ABA Conference

We’re looking forward to having one of our shareholders, Marie Casciari, speak at the upcoming 15th Annual ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference. The conference will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California from November 10-13, 2021.

Marie Casciari will be moderating a panel on “Recent Developments Impacting Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Benefits: What Every Employer and Employee Should Know.” The program will be held on Saturday, November 13 from 8:00 am – 9:15 am PST, and is eligible for CLE credit. Recent case law, legislation, and government enforcement are expanding the reach and impact of behavioral health parity laws as the demand for these employee benefits continues to rise. The interactive panel discussion will address the law impacting mental health and substance use disorder benefits and what attorneys representing employers or employees need to know in light of recent legislation, private litigation, and government enforcement.
